Tyler Yin is a Chinese American artist, technologist, and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. His practice seeks out the boundaries and affordances of software, networks, and computation, bringing attention to the labor that comes before and after the development of digital technology.
He is currently a Part-Time Lecturer at Parsons School of Design. Tyler is also a cofounder and organizer of Tiny Tech Zines, a zine fair and collective that emphasizes care and centers relationships between marginalized communities and technology. He holds a BA in Design | Media Arts and a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media from the University of California, Los Angeles.
