Stalgia Grigg is an artist using simulation to understand the relationship between emergent behavior, historical pattern, and change within seemingly metastable social systems. At the core of this practice is a desire to understand how egalitarian political movements grapple with resolving a plurality of desires into a unified platform. Stalgia has exhibited work at Human Resources, the Hammer Museum, and Coaxial Arts Foundation.
He is also an invested contributor to open-source, often working with the Processing Foundation and p5.js and attempting to imagine new models for open-source communities.
