Ella Medicus’s approach to making is based in the opinion that artists exist in the liminal outskirts of society; always contemplating and reflecting on what they observe. She is interested in attempting to see the unseen. In framing the human body as a tool or lens of perception, and putting emphasis on the imperfections. She studies and compares various schools of thought; from science, physics, old manuscripts, mythologies, AI, and hermeticism, allowing for fractals of insanity to unfold.
